Appointments & Cancellation:
Services are available by appointment only. If you must cancel your appointment, we require a 24-hour verbal notice to avoid charges for a missed appointment.
All payment is due at every office visit at the time of service. We do not bill monthly nor can treatment plans be paid in advance. Our office is set up for direct pay only. We accept cash, checks, and debit or credit cards including Visa and Mastercard.
Managing Payments With Insurance:
If your health insurance policy covers acupuncture, you may only be responsible for a small co-pay or no co-pay at all. However due to several coverage and reimbursement limitations and restrictions for acupuncture services imposed by most health insurance policies, in general we will not accept insurance for payment nor directly bill insurance on your behalf. More commonly, at each visit we provide you with a medical invoice called a "superbill" that you'll use to begin the claim process directly with your insurer and request from them direct reimbursement of the fees you paid to our office.
